No Nintendo Music Ever?

by Mishaal | Jun 1, 2022

On this blog, we have always loved to talk about and discuss the popularity and support that the video game music industry receives and continues to receive, because the more interest fans and gamers give to this arena, the better it gets and we have the opportunity to enjoy the songs that make the games, even without playing the games.

However, one company is adamant about not letting you enjoy their music on its own, without playing the game and that company is Nintendo. Nintendo’s overly active and hyper-fixated trigger finger that sends copyright notices to everyone who uses even a second of their music on a video is nothing short of amazing. From big YouTubers to smaller concerns, the company is relentless.

Why though? Why can’t they just let fans enjoy their music? Their logic fails to make sense to me. They want to hear the tracks. Period. Nintendo really should look at this as possible future progress because the prospects are huge.

What do you think of Nintendo’s stance on the matter? What should they do next?
